There they go again…days whizzing by!
Little C has a Christmas countdown that he changes out the numbers every morning. Well, I could have sworn a few days ago there were 14+ days until Christmas, but when I helped him change the numbers over this morning, seven days until Christmas popped up. Yikes!
I really thought I was on my game this year, but apparently not. There are lots more things I have on my todo list and crunch time has arrived!
With all the chaos I skipped a few days of gift posts, so I owe you all 12 gift ideas! Here we go…
Desktop calendars have been a favorite gift in my family and I love how easy Shutterfly makes it to create them! Lots of designs, layouts and price points to choose from.
Cooking doesn’t come naturally to everyone, but for those guys who are challenged in the culinary arena this book is perfect. It’s sure to get a laugh and may even get you a non-microwaved meal!
A must have mag for the brewmaster in your life. The Premium Membership includes 6 issues per year + back issues, beer school, BC network, expert beer reviews & their member forum.
Really, no explanation needed…everything is better with bacon!

I have an almost identical scarf and LOVE it! It’s soft, cozy and depending on which color you choose, it goes with almost everything. For the accessory lover this is a fab gift!
The world of essential oils is new to me, but for the past few months I have been reading, researching and enjoying the benefits these amazing little oils. With so much information out there it can be quite confusing. This book has been my go to for awesome recipes and information. Highly recommend for anyone who is new to or enjoys the world of EOs.
This is hands down my favorite water bottle I have ever owned! It’s easy to clean, made of food grade stainless steel and has no BPA, phthalates or lead. Those who know me well know I try to keep as many toxins out of my everyday life as possible, but it took me a while to invest in a $15 water bottle. Wish I had done it sooner, so giving this as a gift to a health conscious friend is sure to be a hit!
For the Kiddos
What to do with all that adorable artwork your little Picasso creates? Snap pictures and upload them to this adorable photo book. It will be their very own “portfolio” of artwork!
My husband & I bought our son a LeapFrog Junior when he was probably a bit too young for it, but it has always been a toy that captures his attention. Scout, the name of the LeapReader, talks to your kiddos as they hold him over letters, words, pictures and paragraphs. My son’s favorites have been the counting and Thomas book along with alphabet flash cards. It’s perfect for on-the-go fun or cozy up together and have your little one “read” you a story.
Last Christmas my son was about 20 months old and although I wasn’t sure if the See & Spell was age appropriate, it went on his wish list anyways. If I was that off base no one in our family would buy it! haha I am so happy I added it because it has been a favorite toy since he opened it! Of course before he turned two this occupied his attention for a short time, but now that’s he’s two and half he enjoys sitting and spelling by himself. I love the educational benefits and the quality is really nice as well!
I have a favorite homemade playdough recipe that left me searching for playdough “tools” my son could enjoy as he grows. Another Melissa & Doug set that has been a winner in our house. My son loves all the textures and shapes he can make and as usual I love that it’s not plastic. 🙂
TGIF and wishing you a fabulous weekend! Remember, only 6 more days left to shop…don’t procrastinate. 😉
